Melissa Haas

Buyer

After being raised as a Midwest girl, I finally realized my dream of moving to South Carolina and can start and end my day with a walk on the beach! Now that our three sons are grown and scattered, I love living here and getting to know so many wonderful new people! The family atmosphere here at FWDG has been so gracious and welcoming. It is my pleasure to join FWDG and to contribute to this talented and experienced team by bringing my education and experience with me into my position here. I studied Fashion Merchandising with additional courses in Interior Design and have spent my career in roles of Retail Purchasing, Management, and Visual Merchandising. Home Decorating has been a passion for me and I have continued studying home decorating and design. It is so rewarding to help others create the look they desire for their own homes.

In her personal life, she loves kaizen, also known as continuous self-improvement, and engages in reading, realistic drawing, and learning Japanese to strengthen her mind. She dreams of traveling to Japan once becoming fluent in the language.
