Rich In History
FWDG was founded in 1972, by then 20 year-old Larry Mark and his Father, Ernest. The Mark Family dates back to 1904 in the Beaufort area and is proud of the legacy created by three generations.
FWDG serves furniture needs throughout the Lowcountry. The store is the source for quality home furnishings in Beaufort, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Hilton Head, Okatie, Ridgeland, Seabrook, Walterboro, and Charleston. Those from the Coastal Empire of Georgia, including Savannah, Rincon, Port Wentworth, and Pooler also trust FWDG to furnish their homes.

Larry Mark
Owner and Founder
FWDG was founded in 1972, by 20-year-old Larry Mark and his father, Ernest. The Mark Family dates back to 1904 in the Beaufort area and is proud of the legacy created by 3 generations.

Donna Senica
CEO
Donna is retired from Panasonic Corporation with 30 years of service as their Controller. She moved to Marco Island, FL from New Jersey, and recently, relocated to Beaufort, SC to be closer to family and friends. Donna loves the low country living, enjoying the seasons, and hobbies such as boating, beaches, and all the festivities year-round that Beaufort, SC has to offer. As CEO of FWDG, Donna brings hard working values, coupled with a passion to ensure success for our owners, customers, and staff.

Kim Crumrine
Service manager
Growing up on Hilton Head Island as a teen, Kim helped her parents with their local business, The Sign of the Mermaid, which, interestingly, was a gift shop that helped local designers furnish villas and houses. Over the years, she has worked for various companies such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Casual Corner, and most recently Zales. Wanting to continue her skills in customer service but in a different niche, she was drawn to FWDG. After having explored life outside of the area, she is glad to be home and looking forward to developing new relationships and a new chapter.

Kristin Plyler
Marketing Manager
Kristin is a South Carolina native, born and raised in the upstate. After graduating from Clemson University with a BS in Graphic Communications, her family was relocated through the Marine Corps to Camp Pendleton, in San Clemente, California. She began her professional career in marketing with a promotional manufacturing and branding agency, while also freelancing for small businesses, and building an online jewelry company. She became a mom in 2021, and transitioned into a fully remote marketing position with a national wedding vendor, allowing her more time to focus on her growing family. The Marine Corps eventually brought her family back to the Lowcountry of South Carolina in 2024, where she joined FWDG as the Marketing Administrator. She is excited to be apart of the FWDG family and to be home in the beautiful Palmetto State!

Dausen Bullington
Warehouse manager
Dausen is a South Carolina native, who moved to Colorado with his family in 2015. After living there for some time, Dausen joined the United States Marine Corps. He worked in the supply warehouse at Parris Island until his discharge in 2024. Dausen joined the FWDG team in April of 2025, contributing a strong background in supply and logistics from his Marine Corps experience. Dausen brings forth leadership skills and organization to work everyday. As a Beaufort resident, Dausen enjoys spending time with his family and wife, exploring different areas for hunting, fishing, and shooting his bow in the Lowcountry.

Verdell Fulton
Design Consultant
Verdell joined the FWDG team in 2025 as a Design Consultant. Verdell will always greet you with a smile and is known for his honesty, dedication, and exceptional follow-through. With a strong background in customer service, he helps clients find exactly what they’re looking for — no hesitation, no shortcuts. Verdell is very involved in the community and enjoys meeting new people. At home, he’s outnumbered by his beautiful wife and daughters! A loving family man, Verdell brings that same care and attention to every interaction at FWDG, making every client feel like part of the family.

Ken Moberly
Operations Manager
Ken Moberly is FWDG’s Operations Manager. Born in the Windy City of Chicago, Ken later made a move to Columbus, Ohio, during high school, where he traded snowy winters for a baseball state championship ring. With an impressive 18-year career in management, Ken’s journey has been an adventure. He’s called Charlotte, Mississippi, and now Beaufort home, picking up expertise, stories, and a love for new challenges along the way.
Ken is a sports enthusiast who bleeds scarlet and gray for the Ohio State Buckeyes. When he’s not perfecting his golf swing, you might catch him sightseeing with his wife, Shirley, or proudly cheering on their daughter, Laura, in her pursuits. Ken is proud to join the family-driven atmosphere of FWDG. He is excited about the challenge of helping FWDG grow and contributing to our success.

Sherry Kollar
Design Consultant
Sherry is from a small town in Maine where she started her own business after graduating from the University of Southern Maine. She moved to South Carolina in 1985 after she married her wonderful husband, Anthony, who is a native of Beaufort.
Working at FWDG since August of 2003, Sherry proves that “FWDG is a great place to work.” As a design consultant, she finds it fun and fulfilling to help people create beautiful living spaces, and she also served as sales manager for 5 years.

Beverly Sciaretta
Design Consultant
Starting in sales at 17 years old in one of Ohio and Pennsylvania’s largest furniture stores, Beverly has enjoyed more than 3 decades in furniture sales. Prior to coming to the Lowcountry, Beverly owned her own store, selling furniture, gifts, and decor. Deciding to leave Ohio, she sold her business to another family member. Once in South Carolina, she found another wonderful family-owned furniture store in FWDG. Here at FWDG, Beverly has helped many clients make their homes beautiful and comfortable. With her experience in selling and building furniture with her father, she has many ideas to help transform your house into a home.

Joan Carter
Design consultant
Born in Ohio, Joan moved to Bluffton 22 years ago from Huntsville, AL to manage The Patio Shoppe, one of FWDG’s sister stores. When that store closed in 2008, she joined the FWDG family. Joan has been in retail sales since the early 80s when she worked in her family’s casual furniture store in Florida, followed by managing other retail stores and owning her own business in Huntsville. She studied Fashion Merchandising and continuing education in Interior Design.
Joan loves working with her clients and helping them obtain a beautiful home within the budget they are comfortable with. Joan is known for her knowledge base in furniture and for helping you find what you need.
Joan is blessed to have three daughters that live in Bluffton along with 5 amazing grandchildren. In her spare time, you will see her at various football/baseball/softball fields throughout the season.

Nick Desautels
Sales Manager
Born in Upstate New York, Nick recently moved to the area after many years of vacationing here. He is looking forward to enjoying the Lowcountry lifestyle. Having been in furniture sales since 2021, he brings background knowledge and a passion for the industry that is notable with every interaction. Prior to this, he had been in insurance sales, helping his father start an agency from scratch. His passion for helping the customer always comes first, and he will go out of his way to make sure it is always a good experience. In his free time, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey, and exploring all that this beautiful area has to offer, from the beach, to the history, to the food!

Leigh Thompson
Design consultant
Leigh Thompson joins us from Santa Fe, New Mexico. She relocated to Beaufort looking forward to the Lowcountry lifestyle, the beautiful southern homes, and the beaches! Leigh has been in the home design industry for over a decade and enjoys working with fabrics, textures, colors and furniture to transform a space.
When Leigh is not helping decorate homes, she enjoys visiting the beaches, painting and cooking with her husband and 3 little ladies.

Sara James
Administrative Assistant
Sara James is a Kentucky native and proud military spouse who moved to Beaufort in 2023 with her family. She’s the loving mom of two energetic boys. In her down time, she loves spending time at the beach, shopping around town, and embracing the Lowcountry lifestyle.
Sara has a strong background in retail and customer service. With a warm and welcoming personality, she takes on every challenge with a smile and a welcoming attitude. Whether she’s helping customers, connecting with the community, or spending time with her family, she brings passion and care into every aspect of her life.
